A driver injured in a three-car crash in Aurora earlier this month died Friday night, police said.
The driver, who has not been identified, was taken to the hospital after being injured in a crash at North Peoria Street and East Colfax Avenue on May 8. Officers responded to the crash at about 6 p.m., according to a news release from the Aurora Police Department.
Aurora Police said in the statement that the circumstances of the death will be investigated by the department’s traffic section.
