Security camera footage shows Nuggets’ Malik Beasley, former Bronco Su’a Cravens fighting in Denver apartment lobby

There’s apparently no love lost between Nuggets guard Malik Beasley and former Bronco Su’a Cravens.

A security camera video released by TMZ on Sunday reveals Beasley and Cravens fighting in the lobby of a Denver apartment complex on Aug. 9. The footage is grainy, but shows the athletes exchanging punches before the fight went to the floor.

TMZ reported the altercation revolved around Beasley’s girlfriend, Montana Yao. Yao is seen in the surveillance video trying to break up the fight. Beasley, a 22-year-old fourth-year pro, has an infant child with Yao.

Cravens, who was released by the Broncos on August 30, came to Denver via trade with the Redskins in March 2018. The 24-year-old linebacker/safety hybrid spent most of last season on injured reserve, returning for the final five games to compile 18 tackles as a backup.

The Nuggets were aware of the incident in August, but won’t be commenting because there were no charges filed. TMZ also released Cravens’ Snapchat video, in which he boasts about the fight.

“I just had to beat (someone up) that just tried me,” Cravens said in the video.
