Denver weather: Warm and dry most of the weekend, snow possible Sunday evening

Metro area residents can hang up their coats for the next day or so.

The National Weather Service expects Friday to be sunny with a high temperature of 65 degrees. Friday’s overnight low is expected to be 37 degrees.

Saturday will be be even warmer with a high of 71, said Jim Kalina, NWS meteorologist.

Both evenings are expected to be mostly clear with lows of 37 degrees.

Sunday “cools to 58, there’s a little cold front coming,” Kalina said. On Sunday evening there is a 50 percent chance of light snow and freezing drizzle and a low of 23 degrees.
