About 90 people searched for Gannon Stauch on Friday in southern Douglas County, and the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office has now received 516 tips in the ongoing missing-child case.
The 9-year-old Lorson Ranch boy was reported missing on Jan. 27 by his stepmother, Letecia Stauch, who told authorities he was last seen heading to a friend’s house.

Searchers were also out in southern Douglas County on Thursday in the Larkspur area. Efforts have included people on horseback and the use of search dogs and drones.
“The investigation and search processes continue to run parallel with one another,” the sheriff’s office said in a news release. “The goal remains to find Gannon and bring him home safely.”
